Why compare digital mailbox providers?
From 2027, every business and sole trader in Slovakia will be required to send and receive electronic invoices through the IS EFA system of the Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic. To connect to this system you need a certified digital mailbox provider — an intermediary that delivers your invoices to the recipient in a structured UBL 2.1 format.
As of May 2026, the Slovak Financial Administration's certified provider list contains 27 vendors — ranging from local Slovak ERP firms through Big-4 audit advisors to global e-invoicing players. Only 5 of them publish a full price list in EUR (Asseco, Doklado, Fakturix, Billit, Qvalia); 2 more publish prices partially (Flowis, Pagero/Thomson Reuters). The remaining ~19 require contacting the sales team — typically enterprise solutions (EDICOM, EY, PwC, Pagero) or ERP add-ons (POHODA, Softip, ESO9, ReSOFT/Refis, All Soft Corp, Archiles).

How to get started with e-invoicing?
From May 2026 you can verify your company on the Financial Administration portal and select your digital mailbox provider. If you choose Kaja Solutions s.r.o. (ePošťák), we will automatically send you an email — click the link, set your password, and you are ready to start using the dashboard.

Pricing and transparency
Compare not just the monthly fee but also the per-document cost for sending and receiving. Some providers offer free receiving — others charge per invoice. ePošťák does not charge for receiving. Also watch out for hidden fees on API calls, data exports, or archiving older invoices. A clear price list with no asterisks is a basic indicator of a trustworthy provider.
Integrations with your software
If you use an accounting system (POHODA, Money S3, MRP, or a custom ERP), check for API availability or a direct integration.
